Portfolio

This portfolio is a record of my personal planning principles. It is an evolving piece, synthesizing my experience in planning work with my explorations of fundamental planning values in the Master of Community and Regional Planning program at the University of British Columbia School of Community and Regional Planning (UBC SCARP).

Through my time at SCARP, I have begun to explore some of these fundamentals, and develop the basis of a planning praxis that holds a considered ethics and a push for equity at its centre. This work comprises three broad sections, in which I use a theoretical lens to explore the role that ethics should play in planning; undertake thematic explorations of how ethics can influence different planning domains; and apply some of these insights to case studies and planning ideas.
